A quick note for parents: CodeKutties is built for children, so we've written these terms to be as clear as possible. By creating an account or letting your child use the Service, you agree to these terms on their behalf.

Welcome & Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and CodeKutties, an online educational platform operated by a sole proprietorship based in Kerala, India (“CodeKutties,” “we,” “us”). They govern your use of our website at codekutties.com and all related learning content and services (the “Service”).

By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

2

Who Can Use CodeKutties

CodeKutties is designed for children, with grown-ups in the loop:

  • Children under 18 may use the Service only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
  • Children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your country) require verifiable parental consent before an account is created, in line with our Privacy Policy and applicable child-protection laws.
  • Parents and guardiansare responsible for their child's activity on the Service and for ensuring these Terms are followed.

By agreeing to these Terms on behalf of a child, you confirm you are their parent or legal guardian and have the authority to do so.

To access most features you'll create an account, including via Google Sign-In. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your login details secure.

You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. Please tell us right away at support@codekutties.com if you suspect any unauthorised use.

Being a Good Coder

CodeKutties should be a welcoming place for everyone. When using the Service, you agree not to:

✨ Our community rules
  • Be unkind, bully, harass, or harm other learners.
  • Post or share content that is offensive, hateful, violent, or inappropriate for children.
  • Break the law, infringe others' rights, or attempt to access accounts that aren't yours.
  • Try to disrupt, hack, reverse-engineer, or overload the Service.
  • Use the Service to send spam, ads, or collect others' personal information.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules to keep our community safe.

5

Projects & Content

What you create is yours. Projects, code, and creations a child makes on CodeKutties belong to them. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to host, display, and back up that content solely to operate the Service.

What we provide is ours. Our lessons, courses, software, logos, and branding are owned by CodeKutties or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may use them for personal, non-commercial learning only, and may not copy or resell them without permission.

6

Plans & Payments

Some features may be free while others require a paid subscription or one-time purchase.

  • Prices, billing cycles, and what's included are shown at checkout before you pay.
  • Paid plans may renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • Refund requests may be submitted within 14 days of purchase by contacting us at support@codekutties.com. Each request is reviewed on its merits.

You are responsible for any applicable taxes and for keeping your payment details up to date. We may change pricing with reasonable advance notice.

7

Third-Party Services

The Service uses trusted third-party tools to provide authentication, hosting, database management, and payment processing. These providers operate under their own terms and privacy policies; by using the Service you may also be subject to those policies. A current list of major service providers may be provided upon request.

CodeKutties is not responsible for the content or practices of external websites or services we may link to.

8

Ending an Account

You (or the parent/guardian) may stop using the Service and delete the account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated or to protect the safety of our users.

On termination, your right to use the Service ends. We will handle any remaining personal data in line with our Privacy Policy.

9

Disclaimers & Liability

We work hard to provide a great learning experience, but the Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee it will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or that learning outcomes will be specific to any child.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CodeKutties is not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law, including consumer-protection rights.

10

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time as CodeKutties grows. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
